towards the end Henri Matisse used paper cut outs to create his art. I used this technique of putting shapes and forms from paper to create a fabric design
I now understand the allure. I was totally mesmerized and you need to actually take scissors to paper to feel therapeutic nature.
Try it. I really was so very immersed into the action of cutting. I am going to work on a full collection, using this paper cutting technique...when I have the time....
